Technical Support Engineer

Job description:
- Work independently on pre-sales activities which includes:
- Understand customer IT/Security infrastructure and business requirement
+ Solution Presentation
+ Participate in conference call discussion
+ Solution Demonstration and Proof of Concept (POC)
+ Business Solution Proposal
+ Preferably with good knowledge of virtualization and cloud innovation technology.
- Responsible
to train, manage and update on the product/ technology knowledge.
- Conduct routine update on the new product/ technology to the sales staff/customer.
- Work closely with Marketing Department to obtain the latest Product/ Technology know how.
- Support with technical issues before and during customers are using the services.
- Provide training for customers
- R&D: Research, develop applications, solutions on Google's cloud platform.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work experience requirements:
- 2 years+ work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the security industry. In-depth knowledge of multiple Operating Systems (LINUX or Windows 200x).
- Possess presentation-ready knowledge and product expertise on keys security technologies and solutions and specialized expertise in one or more network technologies.
- Possess good technical knowledge in Internet architecture, network infrastructure, UNIX, Windows, VMware, Cisco, Email Messaging Security and Web Security is essential.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Prefer experience in Java / PHP / Python.
